A behind the scenes look at developing an instructional design.

I have really learned a lot about instructional design during this class. I was having second thoughts regarding my ability to create one. I felt intimidated as I began reading the ebook assigned to us, for the class. However, as I continued completing the readings and the Pinterest posts, I realized I had nothing to worry about. As long as I remembered to use the stages explained by ADDIE,coupled with engaging tech tools, I felt ready. I know that teachers need training and refreshers on tech tools and classroom management, in order to keep up with this generation. What happened to the good ole days?                                              The good old days are long gone. The days of sitting behind a desk and assigning problems from a textbook, has passed. We must utilize more than just textbooks. Our students are digital natives and if we don’t implement activities and engaging lessons, we will have an unsuccessful school year. When teachers develop their lesson plans they must include certain tools. According to Wildberger and Lee (2020) you will need tools to help meet the objectives and to create tests. Using digital menus in a classroom.

There are many classroom tools that are very useful. I have found that digital menus are an engaging, vital instructional organizational resource for any classroom teacher.  They can be used across all subject areas because they are very versatile. As a math teacher I have implemented menus very often and have found that they are one of my favorite new classroom resources. I believe students should be able to find all the information for a class in one primary location. If a parent is helping their student with homework, having a digital menu will truly be an asset.
